Volunteer

London Cycle Link is a member-supported, not-for-profit organization.  We rely on volunteer efforts to maximize our impact.  Volunteering is a great way to share and gain skills and support cycling in London.  Interested in being on a volunteer committee? Get in touch at info@londoncyclelink.ca.

Advocacy

Advocacy is a central part of why we're here. If you're interested in working for improved bicycle infrastructure, cycling awareness and education, and a strong voice for cyclists at City Hall, we want to hear from you!

Ride Marshal

Marshals keep riders together during group rides and make sure everyone is riding safely and in the right direction. People who are very comfortable on their bikes and have strong knowledge of the rules of the road make great marshals.

Fix Bikes

Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op is a welcoming place where anyone can learn how to repair and maintain their bike, use our tools, and get advice on all things cycling-related. We always need more volunteers to help run the shop, offer advice and assistance, and fix up used bikes to sell or give away through our programs.

Communication

Help with social media, our website, newsletter, graphic design, or posting bikes for sale.

Education

Teach kids to ride safely and confidently on the road as part of our Ride to Thrive education program.

Event Support

Events bring our community together, allow us to celebrate, and give people a low-risk foray into cycling. To be successful, we need people behind the scenes to organize and run them - whether planning the events or helping on the day of.

Bike Valet

A bike valet is like a coat check for bikes. Bike valet volunteers keep watch of bikes while the bike owners attend events. This is a great way to encourage people to ride to an event.

Outreach Ambassador

We attend lots of community events to listen to our community about their cycling experiences and share with them our vision for a healthy, vibrant city and how they can get involved.
